Transference of Spirits

In this teaching you'll learn about the transference of spirits. There are holy and unholy transference of spirits and there are also different ways they are transferred from one person to another. An unholy spirit is just another way of saying demon, unclean spirit, or defiling spirit. One way spirits are transferred from one person to another is through the laying on of hands. Laying on of hands is a very powerful way for spirits to be transferred. You must be very prayerful about who you allow to lay hands on you because whatever is in that person will be transferred into you. It could mean major attacks from the enemy but there is also a holy laying on of hands and is initiated by God Himself for activating gifts of the Spirit, imparting wisdom, and mantles. Please share this message with everyone you can. It is not a subject taught in many churches today yet those who operate in the occult understand transference of spirits very well and utilize it often. It is one of their main ways to create soul-ties and spiritual cords to a person in order to control and manipulate them.

Transference of Spirits
Transference of spirits is not a subject I’ve heard preached in many churches. In fact, you may have not heard much teaching on the subject yourself much less receive instruction on the subject, if you were going to a church or gathering where the pastor regularly preaches a sermon. It’s not the type of sermon that most people would not expect to hear. Nevertheless, transference of spirits is real and a common occurrence, but it is also a spiritual and supernatural occurrence that you probably experience every day. It is wisdom to consider the subject from a Biblical perspective since it is both a common occurrence and a subject rarely taught on and understood in churches.
The Bible teaches not to be so quick to lay hands on someone.
1 Timothy 5:22, 24-25 NIV
22 Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands, and do not share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure. ... 24 The sins of some are obvious, reaching the place of judgment ahead of them; the sins of others trail behind them. 25 In the same way, good deeds are obvious, and even those that are not obvious cannot remain hidden forever.
I must warn you now that I may say some things that may upset some people but I want you to please just hear me out before you decide if what I am saying to you is true or false. I and as always will back up what I am saying with scripture. If I cannot back something up with scripture I will say this is just my personal opinion or supposition.
My heart is to see the body of Christ awake to the counterfeits of the enemy that have infiltrated the church today. There are more New Age practices than Christianity in some churches today and it should not be so.
A Recent Familiar Concept: Coronavirus (COVID-19)
There is not one person on the earth today who is without knowledge of how diseases can be transferred through germs because of the ongoing pandemic and the loss and devastation it has caused countless families.
Germs are a part of everyday life and are found in our air, soil, water, and in and on our bodies. Some germs are helpful, others are harmful. Many germs live in and on our bodies without causing harm and some even help us to stay healthy. Only a small portion of germs are known to cause infection.
An infection occurs when germs enter the body, increase in number, and cause a reaction of the body.
Three things are necessary for an infection to occur:

Susceptible Person with a way for germs to enter the body (a person with a weak immune system)
Transmission: a way germs are moved to the susceptible person
A common example would be somebody at work showing up and they are sneezing and coughing on everything. They sneeze on the copy machine just before you use it. You would probably think twice before using the copy machine. You go to use the restroom and you can hear someone in there sneezing and coughing. The door opens and it's the same person. They walk out of the restroom and hold the door open for you to enter. You realize you’re going to have to enter that restroom full of whatever they just sneezed and coughed into the air. You probably look at them and politely say, ‘No thanks, I’ll wait until later.’ This is an example of a common situation where, if conditions are right and people are susceptible, diseases can be transferred by an unseen agent or element called germs.
Transference of spirits is the transfer of spirits from one person to another.
Spirits transfer much the same way. Have you ever been in a room when someone in a very lousy mood walked in? Their mood will have a tendency to transfer to those around, particularly if that person was your spouse or your boss. Have you ever seen your boss come into work angry and his mood affected everyone else in the office? These are examples of the transference of spirits.
Hebrews 12:14-16 NLT 14 Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord. 15 Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many. 16 Make sure that no one is immoral or godless like Esau, who traded his birthright as the firstborn son for a single meal.
When a person is in any kind of spiritual authority over anybody, whatever spirit is on them may easily transfer to those in their charge. When an authority figure is in error, their sin and attitudes may transfer to those under their authority. When an authority figure is walking in righteousness, their passion and attitudes may transfer to those under their authority.
2 King 2:8-9, 11-14 NKJV 8 Now Elijah took his mantle, rolled it up, and struck the water; and it was divided this way and that, so that the two of them crossed over on dry ground. 9 And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, "Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?" Elisha said, "Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me." ... 11 Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried out, "My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!" So he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore them into two pieces. 13 He also took up the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and went back and stood by the bank of the Jordan. 14 Then he took the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and struck the water, and said, "Where is the LORD God of Elijah?" And when he also had struck the water, it was divided this way and that; and Elisha crossed over.
There are two types of transference of spirits:
a) Unholy transference of spirits
b) Holy transference of spirits
A. Unholy Transference of spirits:
Unholy transference of spirits is the transfer of unholy evil spirits from any demonically oppressed or possessed subject or person to a person who is not oppressed or possessed by demons and thereby making such a person be oppressed/possessed with an evil spirit(s). Satan and cohorts (witches, warlocks, wizards, sorcerers, necromancers, etc.), are the originators of negative or unholy transference of spirits, they are also the distributors. There are many persons today who cannot explain how they came under the influence of evil spirits of reckless immorality, anger, pride, materialism, hatred, and so forth.
B. Holy Transference of spirits:
Holy transference of spirits started from God. After God created Adam, He breathed into Adam and transferred His spirit into Adam and he became a living being (Gen 2:7) because God’s living spirit was transferred into him. Another example of positive transference of spirits can be seen in the Bible when the work of Moses to sit as judge over the Israelites became too much of a burden for him to carry alone. God took the Spirit that was upon Moses and transferred it into 70 elders of Israel, reducing the responsibility of Moses. As a result of Moses’ very old age “positive transference of spirits” took place.
Numbers 11:16-17, 24-25
16 So the LORD said to Moses: "Gather to Me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them; bring them to the tabernacle of meeting, that they may stand there with you. 17 "Then I will come down and talk with you there. I will take of the Spirit that is upon you and will put the same upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you may not bear it yourself alone. ... 24 So Moses went out and told the people the words of the LORD, and he gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people and placed them around the tabernacle. 25 Then the LORD came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him, and placed the same upon the seventy elders; and it happened, when the Spirit rested upon them, that they prophesied, although they never did so again. Targum and Vulgate read did not cease.
Holy and Unholy ways spirits can be transferred
Transference of spirits through the laying of hands
There is a powerful transference of spirits through the laying of hands. The Bible tells us in the book of Deuteronomy that through the laying of holy hands, Prophet Moses transferred the spirit of wisdom to Joshua in order for him to be able to lead the Israelites to the Promised Land. This was after God decided to call Moses home because of his anger problem.
Deuteronomy 34:9, Now Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; so the children of Israel heeded him, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses.
With the laying of unholy hands, a lot of people are going through great agony as a result of contaminated hands laid on them for one reason or the other in the past and present. Either through witches, warlocks, sorcerers, witch doctors, occultic human beings, marine agents, and evil people in general.
Transference of spirits through word or communication
Choose your friends wisely, especially among Christian believers.
1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be deceived: "Evil company corrupts good habits."
In another vein, anyone that is not wise enough can be corrupted by immoral acts and if such a person is having regular communication with someone that is into immoral activities, there is a probability that person will be influenced.
Transference of spirits via association
Mind the people you move or associate with. Also, marriage between believers and unbelievers should be discouraged so that, one wouldn’t be contaminated or possessed. It is highly advisable for one to move in the company of consecrated believers. Lastly, a lot of people today changed from good to bad and are parading as hired killers, drug peddlers, drunkards, smokers, cheats, immoral, and so forth because of the bad association they keep.
2 Corinthians 6:14-18
14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people." 17 Therefore "Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you." 18 "I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the LORD Almighty."

Transference of spirits through sex
There is a powerful transference of spirits through sex, and it is the easiest way through which evil spirits are easily transferred from one person to another. In the majority of the cases of unholy, defiling, and unclean transference of spirits; over 85 percent are traceable to sexual activities today.
1 Corinthians 6:15-16 NKJV
15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! 16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For "the two," He says, "shall become one flesh."
The Bible tells us that if you are joined sexually with a harlot, you both become one; so if you have sexual relations with a highly demonized person(s) or member of the occult, a witch or wizard, fetish priest, and marine agents, it will bring unholy transference of spirits from such a person to the unsuspecting victim.
This has resulted in some men and women becoming barren, impotent, infertile, and backwardness in their life endeavors. A disheartening one is when people lose control over their sexual life to the extent that is so bound they cannot sleep one night without having sex. For singles, this can delay him or her from getting married on time. Those who are involved in any form of sexual perversions such as homosexuality, bestiality, incest, oral and anal sex practices, adultery, fornication, and excessive and indiscriminate sexual acts are endangering their lives. People that were involved in evil together can open doors for the unholy transference of spirits to be established. This can also lead to strong unholy soul-ties.
Leviticus 20:12-16 NKJV
12 'If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death. They have committed perversion. Their blood shall be upon them. 13 'If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them. 14 'If a man marries a woman and her mother, it is wickedness. They shall be burned with fire, both he and they, that there may be no wickedness among you. 15 'If a man mates with an animal, he shall surely be put to death, and you shall kill the animal. 16 'If a woman approaches any animal and mates with it, you shall kill the woman and the animal. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood is upon them.
Transference of spirits through television
The spirit of immorality can easily be transferred through watching pornography. Demons and curses can be transferred by watching programs and movies about magic, witchcraft, and that involve summoning demons and spirits through opened portals and gateways such as Harry Potter movies. It is the same way the Holy Spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ can be transferred by watching programs that encourage studying and immersing yourself in the Word, praise, and worship of God.
Transference of Spirits through Books
Holy Spirit is transferred through reading the Holy Bible. While evil spirits are transferred easily through the reading of occultic and pornographic books or materials.
Transference of spirits via parent
If one’s father or mother has evil spirit(s), the children may get it also. These spirits can go from one generation to another (generational Spirits) if not driven out in time. These generational spirits bring operate through generational curses that are handed down from one generation to the next. The spirits that are transferred are called familiar spirits because they are familiar with your bloodline and lineage. They are transferred and usually continue the same work they did in the last generation. For example, the father was an alcoholic so the son becomes an alcoholic or is addicted to something else.
Exodus 20:5-6 NKJV
For I, the LORD your God …visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
Transference of spirits through music
Music is another powerful medium for the transfer of evil spirits. Just as there is good (Christian) gospel music, there is also bad music with evil conceived songs that encourages immorality, promotes violence, and condones murder, invocation of demons, and worshiping of Satan.
Ephesians 4:29-30 NKJV
29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
Ephesians 5:3-7 NKJV
3 But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; 4 neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not be partakers with them.
Transference of spirits through food, water, and alcohol
There is a powerful transference of spirits through food, water, and alcohol. Through these avenues, spirits could be transferred negatively or positively. For example, taking items dedicated to idols or participating in accursed rituals will most likely pave the way for the transference of unholy spirits. This can spiritually poison or defile someone.
1 Corinthians 10:19-21 NKJV
19 What am I saying then? That an idol is anything, or what is offered to idols is anything? 20 Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons. 21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord's table and of the table of demons.
Revelation 2:14 NKJV
14 "But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.
Transference of spirits through objects and other materials
Many homes and people are under the influence of demons because of the presence of objects in their possession. Such items range from shrines, contaminated earrings, necklaces, artifacts, occult symbols, pictures, molded statues of a mermaid, the devil, and even evil board games. Other objects that can easily be contaminated are candles, incense, perfume, soap, pictures, perfumes, “holy water and holy handkerchief” from false prophets and fetish priests. These people have nothing but evil to offer.
Joshua 7:1-6, 24-26 NKJV
1 But the children of Israel committed a trespass regarding the accursed things, for Achan the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed things; so the anger of the LORD burned against the children of Israel. 2 Now Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Beth Aven, on the east side of Bethel, and spoke to them, saying, "Go up and spy out the country." So the men went up and spied out Ai. 3 And they returned to Joshua and said to him, "Do not let all the people go up, but let about two or three thousand men go up and attack Ai. Do not weary all the people there, for the people of Ai are few." 4 So about three thousand men went up there from the people, but they fled before the men of Ai. 5 And the men of Ai struck down about thirty-six men, for they chased them from before the gate as far as Shebarim, and struck them down on the descent; therefore the hearts of the people melted and became like water. 6 Then Joshua tore his clothes, and fell to the earth on his face before the ark of the LORD until evening, he and the elders of Israel; and they put dust on their heads. ... 24 Then Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, the silver, the garment, the wedge of gold, his sons, his daughters, his oxen, his donkeys, his sheep, his tent, and all that he had, and they brought them to the Valley of Achor. 25 And Joshua said, "Why have you troubled us? The LORD will trouble you this day." So all Israel stoned him with stones; and they burned them with fire after they had stoned them with stones. 26 Then they raised over him a great heap of stones, still there to this day. So the LORD turned from the fierceness of His anger. Therefore the name of that place has been called the Valley of Achor to this day.
Also watching idol festivities or participating in them directly or indirectly can sometimes affect someone indirectly depending (Hosea 4:6 “lack of knowledge”, Deut.27:15 “against”).
Hosea 4:6 NKJV
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
Deuteronomy 27:15 NKJV
15 'Cursed is the one who makes a carved or molded image, an abomination to the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and sets it up in secret.' "And all the people shall answer and say, 'Amen!'
Transference of spirits through the Environment
There are demonic spirits in charge of any country, city, town, village. Just like there are angels of God everywhere and also earthly political or military or hierarchy in the world. It is similar on the other side. These demonic spirits manipulate and control what goes on within their respective jurisdictions. Some areas are classified or zoned as high-level immoral activities and if proper care is not taken, innocent people living in such areas or cities may be affected due to their ignorance.
Daniel 10:13, 20 NKJV
13 "But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia. ... 20 Then he said, "Do you know why I have come to you? And now I must return to fight with the prince of Persia; and when I have gone forth, indeed the prince of Greece will come.
Revelation 12:12-17 NKJV
12 "Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time." 13 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. 14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. 15 So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. 16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Transference of spirits through the Dead and Certain burial ceremonies participation
Transference of spirits can also come about through certain burial functions. Demons don’t die when people die, and when any person they possessed dies, these demons would certainly leave such bodies to look for another person or persons to inhibit. They always need a human container to house them. People that work in the mortuary or hospital are advised to learn how to conduct self-deliverance exercises on themselves.
Numbers 9:6, “And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man…”
During a burial ceremony, some people come around like they are sympathizing with the bereaved but they come armed with the wrong motives to attack some family members that are mourning their loved one. Christians shouldn’t be ignorant of the devices of Satan, but be fully alert. Remember that Satan has a way of striking during a bereavement period especially most people are in a low state, especially with their prayer life. Demons can enter and attach themselves during the attack.
People will kiss and touch the dead loved one because of grief and mourning. Spirits can attach themselves when this is done. You should not touch a dead body because you may be defiled by the familiar spirits that person may have had that are looking for the next person to transfer themselves to.
Some people will even put personal items in the burial casket with the dead body to be buried with them. This creates a soul-tie with a dead person and a point of contact for the spirit(s) that were in that dead person to transfer to the person who placed the object in the casket.
Numbers 19:13, “Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.”
Some people will get tattoos in memory of the deceased family member or close friend. The Bible is clear this is not to be practiced by Christians because it is the way pagans and idolaters worship their gods and the dead.
Deuteronomy 14:1 NKJV 1 "You are the children of the LORD your God; you shall not cut yourselves nor shave the front of your head for the dead.
Leviticus 19:28 NKJV 28 'You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the LORD.
Deuteronomy 12:1-4 NIV
1 These are the decrees and laws you must be careful to follow in the land that the LORD, the God of your ancestors, has given you to possess--as long as you live in the land. 2 Destroy completely all the places on the high mountains, on the hills and under every spreading tree, where the nations you are dispossessing worship their gods. 3 Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones and burn their Asherah poles in the fire; cut down the idols of their gods and wipe out their names from those places. 4 You must not worship the LORD your God in their way.
Immediately after a burial ceremony, whether you are a minister or born again Christian, please try to conduct comprehensive deliverance on you and your family. It is always better to be safe than sorry.
These are some ways that spirits are transferred holy and unholy.
If you have participated in unholy events or have been keeping company with unbelievers or immoral people and think you have been infected with unholy spirits, repent and ask Jesus to forgive you and He will.
Act 19:18-20 NET
18 Many of those who had believed came forward, confessing and making their deeds known. 19 Large numbers of those who had practiced magic collected their books and burned them up in the presence of everyone. When the value of the books was added up, it was found to total fifty thousand silver coins. 20 In this way the word of the Lord continued to grow in power and to prevail.
If you have been in a relationship with someone who practiced dark arts, witchcraft, occult, or paganism, or if you dabbled or practiced them yourself. You most certainly opened yourself up to transference of evil, unclean, and defiling spirits. Renounce it all and have nothing to do with it ever again. Have nothing to do with anyone who refuses to stop practicing it and who refuses the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Break all ties with them and destroy anything you have that you used to perform witchcraft, books, videos, pictures, audios, tarot cards, Ouija board, candles, altars, statues, amulets, talismans, and DESTROY do not sell or give to someone else.
Break any curses that may have been transferred to you, bind all transferred spirits and command them to go back to the dry places where they belong. Ask Holy Spirit to cleanse you of all unrighteousness by the blood of Jesus and to fill you with His Spirit making all things new again.
Father,
In Jesus' name, I pray for the listeners who have been defiled through their own acts of sin or through a lack of knowledge that opened them up for spirits to be transferred to them. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, by the power of the Holy Spirit, I forgive them for all acts of sin, iniquity, and transgression that opened the door for the transference of spirits. Brother, sister, I forgive you in Jesus' name and I release from the legal right of all transferred spirits to you. I break their hold off of your life now, in Jesus' name. I break every yoke, cord, band, chain, and fetter off of you and set you free from their influence now, in Jesus' name. I command every spirit now to be bound. I break your hold off of my brother and sister and I curse the root, stem, and fruit of your works in their lives. I command your fruit to wither and die, fall dead to the ground, and bear no fruit ever again. I cast every transferred spirit out now, in Jesus' name. I break any soul-ties being used to connect and contact them through. I destroy them in Jesus' name and forbid them to ever reconnect. Father, I ask you to heal my brother and sister now. Make the whole again and fill them with a fresh impartation of your Spirit, Abba. Thank you for doing it and I seal it with the blood of Jesus. Amen and amen!
